So what about me? Well I’m a fairly normal 16 year girl with a love for all of the things that most 16 year old girls like, music, fashion and my friends and family. I work very hard at school as I want to get the grades I need to get onto the Loughborough University 'DiSE Motorsport degree' but the thing that I live for is racing. I’ve always been interested in sport and did lots of different things when I was younger, such as climbing and horse riding, but the first time I went in a kart when I was 8 it was the most exciting thing I’d ever done and thats where my motorsport journey started. My two cousins are my major inspiration, they are still in their early 20’s and have achieved multiple ‘British Championship’ titles in athletics and are now studying in the US with the dream of competing in the Olympics.

Things have changed a lot since I was 8 which I know was not long ago and now there are opportunities for girls like me to make it to the very top of this sport and that is my dream.

I’m now competing in the ‘British Kart Championships’ and finishing regularly right at the front of the field in the most prestigious events right across the UK and this year I will be competing in the IAME Euroseries at Le Mans in France. My one goal is to reach the pinnacle of Motorsport in either GT and Prototype Racing ie Le Mans or Single seaters ie F4, F1 academy, F3, F2 and F1. I think I’m fairly unusual in as far as I’m one of a tiny handful of girls on the whole planet that can actually compete at the top level against the boys and actually be at the front and I have the passion and desire to reach for the very top of this amazing sport that I love.

I cant wait to experience the journey over the next five years.
