THE FUTURE AND THE F1 ACADEMY

Ultimately what is it that I want to achieve and why am I dedicating everything to this seemingly unobtainable dream? Well I believe that unlike my male counterparts, my chances of achieving my dreams in this sport are not thousands or millions to one, but far more realistic than that. The eyes of the sport are very much focused on finding the truly capable female drivers that have the ability, determination and mental capability to deliver results, but also present themselves in a way that is an asset to the teams and partners.

Thanks to the F1 Academy https://www.f1academy.com the search for the first generation of truly world class female driving talent has been put firmly in the spot light with the incredible commercial and media backing of F1 itself behind the project. I am showing that I have the capability to compete at the very top level of this incredibly competitive, physically and mentally demanding sport against the best male drivers from around the world.

I am one of a tiny handful of the top female kart racers in the world and my goal is to win the 'F1 Academy’. This is not an unobtainable dream it is a very real possibility. I am so thankful to the 'F1 Academy' talent and development team who have for some time now been advising me on how to achieve my goals.

At the beginning of November 2025 at the final round I was on the podium and was confirmed as the 'PF international Champion’ 2025, I am the first female driver to win the championship in its 30 year history, every top British driver in recent history and three 'F1 World Champions’ Lewis, Hamilton, Lando Norris and Jenson Button have begun their journey by winning at 'PF International'. There were only 4 other female drivers in the championship, the next highest placed female driver in P9 and the next female driver after that was in P28!

In Oct 2025 I was invited to compete at the IAME 'Ladies Cup’ at ‘Le Mans' in France. It was my 2nd day ever in a Senior kart, at an iconic track I’ve never been to before, against 34 of the best female kart racers in the world, many from the top 10 are already involved in 'F1 Academy' programmes and race at ‘Le Mans' regularly and I managed a P2 and fastest lap in the ‘Super Heat’ In fact I was incredibly close to winning it, 0.107 seconds off to be precise, very happy to have achieved this result against this level of competition.

As a result of my achievements in 2025 I have been getting a lot of publicity in 2026 starting with articles by BBC News https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvg5lzn9y9qo and BBC Radio https://www.facebook.com/bbcsheffield/videos/16-year-old-maisy-from-sheffield-aims-to-become-a-top-f1-driver-after-being-crow/2866882740369783/ This exposure has already begun to illicit approaches from multiple organisations and media companies that wish to either document or support my journey in 2026/2027.

My goal is to race in and win the 'F1 Academy’ and 2026 will be the year that I begin my preparations to compete in the 'F1 Academy' Rookie test and hopefully show that the pace that I have in karting can be translated to fastest test lap times in the 'F1 Academy' ‘Rookie test’

We have a very clear strategy for my transition into single seater or ‘Formula' cars. It involves Holistic Development, beyond just racing, including physical fitness, mental strength, media training, and strategic career planning. I also have 2 separate driver coaches in place to help with my training. This will involve 'Sim work’ at Silverstone and Banbury in a Radical SR3 twin seater then on to actual real world testing in an SR3 at Donnington Circuit. From there I will begin training with my second driver coach and will be one of the first to drive the 'F1 Academy' car on the sim, my sim support have direct relationship with the ‘F1 Academy’ ie they have the actual 'F1 Academy' car on their sim system. Because of this they are currently working with a number of the girls who already race in the ‘F1 Academy' for teams such as 'Mclaren F1’ and 'Ferrari F1' All of the female drivers that have worked with both sim companies so far have subsequently signed with ‘F1 Academy’ teams, so they are definitely the right companies to go with. If I can translate my speed in karting into single seaters, I know I will be very competitive. If I'm able to secure a 'F1 Academy' 'Rookie test' in 2026 I feel sure with this level of preparation I can post a quick enough time to be in with a chance of being chosen for the ‘F1 Academy’

Why am I so sure of this? There are 2 or 3 drivers that have done exactly the above and are now signed to 'F1 teams’

My biggest challenge is to raise as much budget as possible to allow me to test in single seaters on both the sim and on track to illustrate by feeding back that data to the ‘F1 Academy’ that I have what it takes to win in the 'F1 Academy’

I am a member of ‘British Women Racing Drivers Club’

I have a strong social media following with on average 350k views per month on my instagram racing account alone.

But the greatest opportunity comes with the ‘F1 Academy’ As the number of female fans of F1 has risen to 40%, this is reflected in the faces of those watching trackside. In 2019, women made up 20% of Grand Prix attendees and in the space of four years, that has grown to almost a third. Many have discovered motorsport by themselves, and there are many varied and significant reasons behind the recent increase in the female fanbase. TikTok and Drive To Survive are often attributed with having contributed to this change, with 43% of UK viewers tuning into Drive To Survive being women.

The F1 Academy and its goal to encourage, develop and deliver elite level female drivers capable of making the leap into F1 has the very important role of showing girls and women that they can play at any level. Sport has the power to change lives and the ability to drive gender equality by teaching women and girls teamwork, self-reliance, resilience and confidence. Women in sport defy gender stereotypes and social norms, make inspiring role models, and show men and women as equals.

If you would like to learn more or would like to discuss the potential partnerships opportunities, now is a really good time as once drivers are signed then the 'Brand Association' arrangements are much more closely managed by ‘F1’ themselves and now is when I need the support more then ever.

Many thanks for taking the time to learn about me and my goals for the future.

All the best Maisy Creed.
